Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 38 Weeks and 1 Day!
Size of baby: Baby Vaughn is about 19.5 inches long from head to heel (like a leek) and about 6.8 pounds! (About the size of a small pumpkin). She is getting big big big!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: ~ +26lb.
Maternity Clothes: Always maternity pants or stretchy yoga/sleep pants. Still filling out all of my maternity shirts and stretching out the regular ones! haha!

Gender: Baby V is a GIRL!!!
Movement: She's still moving around lots! I don't think she sleeps for more than 30 minutes because I feel her squirming around about that often.
Sleep: I don't know where this category went on my last two weekly posts..? Anyway, sleep is still good but I get up to potty about 3-4 times per night now. One or two of those times is before I even fall asleep though. Sometimes it takes me a while to fall asleep and sometimes I'm out like a light. Anyway, I'm not too uncomfortable so the sleep is still good!
What I miss: Nada!
Cravings: Slowing down on the cereal, but still having lots of milk. Also, Hershey's with almonds have been really tasty here lately!
Symptoms: HUGE belly. My allergies and drainage is much better, pretty much completely gone. I don't think I've had any contractions. Maybe a few BH. Sometimes my belly will tighten up way up high but it doesn't hurt, it just feels like a solid rock in there. I think my hurting knuckles was from sleeping with my fists curled up by my face because I have been waking up like that. Over all I feel really good! At my doc appointment today, she said I am dilated and effaced a big fat ZERO! That explains the no contractions or pain yet! Baby girl is snug as a bug in there and wants to stay a little longer I guess. :)
Best Moment this week: The best moment this week is just being 38 weeks along and having another great check up at the doctor! Everything is still right on track and my blood pressure is great. Her heartbeat was 150bpm today. We got a lot done around here for baby girl last weekend. Nate installed a ceiling fan in her room and we got several things hung, washed, and ready to go. Just a little more cleaning up and organizing to do and most everything will be good to go. I finally got a diaper bag and we also ordered a video monitor. So the last thing to get is the car seat attachment bar for the stroller and a couple of other things from our Amazon registry. When we were putting together our pack n play the other night, we realized we were missing one of the long rods to secure the bassinet. I called Graco on Monday and they said they would send a replacement right away. It came in the mail today, only 3 days later! Great customer service! Well, we are down to 13 days until our due date! It's getting so close and you never know, it could be a week sooner or a week later. Thanks for the tips on my hospital bag! I'm going to get most of it ready this weekend, just in case! :)

you look soooooo good at 38 weeks! i can't wait to see that girl's picture very soon! :) i'm glad you are feeling good and getting things done. that is awesome! hope you have a restful weekend! :)
