3 Weeks

Wow, you are already 3 weeks old!  We say this every day, but you really are growing SO fast!  Your newborn clothes went from being baggy, then a few days later they fit well, then a few days after that, they're snug!  Slow down, baby girl!  Your umbilical cord stump finally fell off this week.  We are excited to give you a real big girl bath.  I don't think you liked the sponge baths too much because you would get too cold.  We are also going to start you in cloth diapers.  We have already spent more on disposables than I thought we would and those things just go straight in the trash. :(  You had a bit of a diaper rash this week but it has already cleared up.  Hopefully your cloth diapers will help with that as well.  You are still nursing really well, but you still like to "snack" on and off during your awake times.  At least you save your snacking for the daytime.  And you must be my child because you sure love your nighttime sleep!!  For the past several days, you have eaten at 10:30pm, 2:30am, and 6:30am throughout the night.  I believe next week, we'll stop waking you to eat and let you sleep.  You sure aren't failing to thrive!  You are a very happy and content baby!  You love snuggling with momma and daddy.  We can't wait to take you to church for the first time on Easter Sunday.  It will be a special day!  Until then, just please stay little a little bit longer! :)
