14 Weeks

Avery,

This week, you have gotten noticeably bigger!  I mean, I probably say that every day, but really, your little legs are getting chubby and you have the sweetest chubby cheeks!  Last weekend, you went with us and our friends Laura and Galo to have sushi.  You didn't try any. ;)  You were a little fussy, but fell asleep pretty quickly and then slept all through dinner.  We tried another bottle while we were out, but you didn't really want it.  I think you just weren't that hungry at the time.  We are going to keep trying to get you interested in taking a bottle.  I honestly don't mind if you do or don't, but it will be nice for you to eventually take a bottle.  You have been such a good girl with sleeping at night but I STILL cannot figure out your routine!!  You get fussy at different times in the evening, so we try bath and bedtime at all different times.  During the day, you basically sleep when you're tired and eat when you're hungry.  There's no real schedule to it just yet.  And once there is a schedule, you will probably change the next week.  ha!  We are loving all of your big smiles!  We think you are the prettiest little thing!  Love you, honey girl.

Love,

Momma & Daddy

And here's another funny pic...this was right after a nap and you were totally smiling big!

When I put Ellison on a day time schedule he has been A LOT less fussy.

This is what we do.

I feed him around 6AM and let him go back to sleep.
Then feed again around 9 -9:30 then play / stay awake until around 10:00-10:15.
nap until noon
feed again from 12-12:30 , play again from 12:30 to about 1:15
nap from 1:15 to 3
repeat at 3
then feed again at 6
let her cat nap until 8:15
then feed a little from 8:15-8:30
then bathtime 8:30-9:00
then feed the last feeing of the night at 9 and put to bed afterwards

Maybe that will help :)

She is precious! Ours didnt have a real schedule either. We sort of allowed her to sleep when she needed to and eat when she was hungry. We did put her down at night around the same time and slowly she got into a rhythm that works. But it changed all of the time for awhile. It turned into a game of us trying to figure out what routine would be next! They are fun that way!!
